Our Vision

Real-life learning through creative play

In uncertain times, children need more than knowledge. They need resilience, imagination, and the confidence to try new paths. By embedding creativity into real-life learning, we help them develop key practical skills: from managing emotions to understanding money, from teamwork to eco-awareness.

Enrichment and opportunity

Our projects widen learning experiences that sit alongside the curriculum, helping children build confidence, curiosity and life skills. Whether in school, at home or through social‑mobility events, our activities bring high‑quality enrichment to children of all backgrounds and abilities.

Workshops for primary schools

Our in‑person workshops bring real‑life learning directly into schools. Each session is hands‑on, creative and designed to build practical skills through play. Workshops are fully resourced, curriculum-aligned and free for schools, making it easy for teachers to offer enriching experiences without adding to workload or budgets.

Competitions for all ages

Creative competitions are at the heart of ootiboo. We've received thousands of entries from schools and families worldwide, ranging from our youngest entrant, just three years old, to our oldest, aged 93. Our seasonal competitions run back-to-back with flexible themes, ensuring that at any time of year there's always a creative challenge to join, a chance to share your ideas, and the opportunity to win a prize.

Health and wellbeing

Creativity is essential for wellbeing and plays a powerful role in emotional and cognitive development. Our projects help children use creativity to make healthier choices, understand their emotions and collaborate with others, building confidence, empathy and important social skills.
